Twelve years ago Microsoft’s Most Popular OS ;Windows XP was launched. Though for now it’s hard to get retail copy of the OS which continues it’s long shadow over PC industry. It was Microsoft’s first mass market OS of Windows which offered multi user security, multi processor support and multitasking too.
Windows XP was the most popular OS in the world in 2006 with 73% of market share. For Windows 2000 users, Windows XP was just a minor update where adding features like Firewall and System Restore but for home users using Windows 95 it was revolution. Another OS from Microsoft ; Vista was quiet unstable but personally I have never faced any issues with it. However PC industry doomed Vista where all OEM were moving millions of PC to Windows XP right the year after the release of Windows Vista.

But How long Technology could handle single product released in the past. However development in Android, iOS. Gradual changes between Mac OS X these days market made buzz to push Microsoft for it’s next step; Windows 8.
Microsoft will be stopping the support for Windows XP in less than a year from now that’s why company is telling users on the old operating system to upgarde to Windows 7 or Windows 8.
